Cork RFID Key Cards

RFID keycards are made of cork material will be much durable than wooden RFID keycards.  Both wooden and cork are natural and eco friendly material. 

Cork material are first widely used as wine stoppers, bulletin boards and for tiles, now they are also widely used as RFID keycards to replace plastic keycards, as they are naturally resistant to moisture, pests and rot, mostly the cork will be damage the trees as they are easily harvested from cork oak trees. 

Cork RFID keycards are much more foldable and flexible than plastic keycards, even they works the same way to control access, but cork keycards reading distance is better than plastic keycards. The cork materials provide better situation for RFID chips and antenna than they are in plastic material. The reader is more sensitive on cork material than plastic material. Which means the stored information in cork material will be transmitted faster. 

Cork RFID card doesn’t like plastic cards, each cork cards has it’s own distinct appearance, it’s aesthetic appeal which are attractive than every plastic cards are the same appeal. 

That’s why many hotel, inns and resort change their keycards to cork material keycards.
